    THE ROLE: 

    We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized and enthusiastic Coordinator to provide vital support to the Calanet Foundation team. This role involves a variety of administrative and operational tasks to ensure smooth workflow across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will be proactive, adaptable, and ready to assist with day-to-day activities while learning from and collaborating with senior team members.     RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Key Responsibilities: Assist in organizing and coordinating project timelines, meetings, and events across The Calanet Foundation's brands (currently One Mitzvah A Day, Our CampUs United and Jewish Founded).

    • Project & Task Management: Support the execution of multiple organizational initiatives by ensuring timely completion of tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring projects remain on track using project management tools. 

    • Invoicing & Financial Coordination: Handle invoices for vendors, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. Work to ensure alignment with project budgets and track expenditures.

    • Action Item Support: Assist in identifying, assigning, and tracking action items across teams, ensuring tasks are completed as planned. Provide ongoing follow-up to ensure accountability and the successful completion of initiatives.

    • Budget Alignment & Monitoring: Assist in developing and aligning project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that initiatives are delivered within financial parameters. Ensure the coordination of budgets across departments and initiatives.

    • Logistics Coordination: Organize and oversee logistics for events, meetings, and community outreach initiatives. Ensure seamless execution of all operational activities, from planning to follow-up.

    • Scheduling & Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage calendars for key team members and leadership, scheduling meetings, events, and other key activities.

    • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to various teams, including document preparation, report generation, and data entry.

    • Collaboration & Communication: Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

    • Follow-through & Reporting: Track progress of ongoing projects and initiatives, follow up on action items, and provide regular updates and reports to ensure accountability and transparency.

    • Develop decks and briefing documents.

    • Support on events, activations, launches, social media, and campaigns. 

    • Support on merch orders, influencer gifting, shipping, and tracking of social media engagement. 

    • Support additional responsibilities as needed to aid in the continued success and expansion of The Calanet Foundation’s brands.


     EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

    • Previous experience as an executive assistant and/or in a startup environment preferred but not necessary.

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • High attention to detail, particularly when managing budgets and invoicing.

    • Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and project management tools.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Experience in budget management and financial oversight is a plus.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling tasks.

    • Passion for social justice, community advocacy, Jewish advocacy, and addressing meaningful social issues.

    Salary Range: $5,500 - $6,000/month

    ROLE DESCRIPTION
    Calanet Foundation is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to oversee and execute the digital presence for Our Campus United. The ideal candidate is deeply engaged in the social media landscape, passionate about combating antisemitism on college campuses, and skilled at developing high-impact digital campaigns. This person will work closely with the design team, leadership, as well as our on-campus ambassadors to craft compelling content, foster community engagement, and analyze performance metrics to drive platform growth.

    This role requires strong storytelling skills, excellent organization, and the ability to optimize content strategy using real-time data and audience insights.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Social Media Strategy & Content Creation

    • Develop and maintain a content calendar with post concepts, captions, and execution guidelines for the design team.

    • Publish in-feed content (4-5x per week) and manage ongoing story updates, including community reposts and original content.

    • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and engagement goals.

    • Stay informed on the political and social landscape of antisemitism on college campuses, providing timely recommendations for face-to-camera videos and relevant discussions.

    Community Engagement & Growth

    • Oversee all aspects of community management, including monitoring conversations, responding to comments and messages, and maintaining the brand’s tone and voice.

    • Identify and engage with key users/accounts for potential ambassador outreach and collaborations.

    • Work with nano, micro, and macro influencers on both paid and organic campaigns to amplify reach and impact.

    • Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).

    Event & Ambassador Coordination

    • Cover live events by capturing, producing, and sharing real-time social content.

    • Guide and collaborate with on-campus ambassadors to source and curate content that aligns with brand guidelines.

    Data Analysis & Performance Optimization

    • Use social and insight tools to pull and analyze audience engagement trends.

    • Dive deep into analytics to inform content strategy and optimize performance in real time.

    • Share key insights and learnings with leadership and stakeholders to refine future campaigns.

    EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

    • 2+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, organization, or public figure.

    • Passion for social media and deep knowledge of platform-specific strategies for driving KPIs.

    • Strong understanding of the political and social landscape of antisemitism on college campuses.

    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

    • Experience using data analytics to inform content strategy and measure success.

    • Strong writing, communication, and storytelling skills.

    • Experience working with influencers and executing both paid and unpaid collaborations.

    • Quick learner with a collaborative, solutions-driven mindset.

    • Humble, curious, adaptable, and fun—sense of humor is a must!

    Salary Range: $2,500 - $3,000 / month
